More than 13 tons of donations were collected at the joint Easter campaign of NOE and CBA
More than 13 tons of donations were collected during the joint “Easter Basket of Love” fundraising campaign of the National Association of Large Families (NOE), the CBA and Príma store chains, NOE told MTI.
They informed that the program, organized for the first time this year with the intention of creating a tradition, took place over two weekends in April, at 28 locations across the country. Almost 500 large family volunteers participated in the collection.
The campaign collected 13.5 tons of donations, of which they can make Easter more beautiful and easier for about 800 families with young children – the announcement reads, according to which the joint campaign of NOE and CBA aims to provide assistance to families with young children for whom the Easter preparation period is particularly stressful.
Therefore, they asked customers to buy one or two more products than they need, if possible, and hand them in at the store collection points.
According to the statement, Zsófia Koncz, the State Secretary for Families at the Ministry of Culture and Innovation, drew attention to the fact that the Parliament is already discussing the bill on the personal income tax exemption for mothers raising three and two children.
