Munch and SPAR save more than 1.1 million food packages

Since 2022 SPAR Magyarország has sold more than 1.1 million food packages with a discount through the Munch app.

When no longer consumable, food products are used to make biogas or compost

Packages containing bakery items, fruit and vegetables and chilled products are available to customers up to 60% cheaper, by this significantly reducing food waste. Unsold packages are sent to people in need through the Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta. //
