Several thousand people took part at the 6th half marathon of the Szekszárd wine region
More than three thousand people took part at the 6th half marathon of the Szekszárd wine region during the weekend in Szekszárd. The city's mayor told that the event became one of the largest amateur running competition in Hungary.
According to the informations provided by the organizers a total of 1,800 runners took part; 700 liters of spritzer, 2000 liters of water, 600 liters of isotonic drinks, 1000 kilograms of bread and 200 kilograms of bananas were consumed. (MTI)
