Thousands of products cost the same in SPAR, Auchan and Tesco as they did a year ago
Most of the time, we are only talking about brutal inflation, even though there are quite a few products whose prices have not changed in the last 12 months.
In response to Pénzcentrum’s question, Spar stated that compared to the prices of 2020 and last November, they currently have 471 products for which there was either no price change or this was less than 1%.
Examining the price levels of November 11, 2020, 2021 and 2022, for example, the prices of a couple dozens of products did not change in their stores.
Tesco announced that approx. There are 100 products in their offer whose prices have not changed for a long time. Such are the price-stop products, but also the others, mainly non-food, household and electronic products.
In Auchan, there were exactly 3,244 products whose prices are the same as last November’s prices.
However, Penny briefly and succinctly told the newspaper:
Unfortunately, in the current economic situation, we cannot offer such a product, as the price of everything has risen.
By the time this article was published, there had been no response from ALDI and Lidl.
