The UN FAO urges more cooperation in the banana sector

The participants of the Fourth Banana World Forum will discuss the main challenges, such as climate change, the costs of fertilizers and transportation, and the TR4 disease.

The fourth global World Banana Forum started today, hosted by the Rome headquarters of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). The topics of the conference include the many challenges faced by banana producers, including the effects of climate change, high energy and fertilizer prices, and the so-called fusarium fungus. the worrying spread of tropical race 4 (TR4).
