Twelve thousand boxes of smuggled cigarettes were seized in Szabolcs
Twelve thousand boxes of smuggled cigarettes worth 16 million forints, were found by police and tax officials in the area of Tiszakerecseny – the Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County Police Headquarters announced on its website.
The police and the staff of the National Taxation and Customs Administration arrested two Ukrainian citizens on Tuesday who could not prove that they were legally resident in Hungary. The two men admitted that they illegally crossed the Ukrainian-Hungarian border while smuggling cigarettes. (MTI)
