Domestic tourism expanded over ten percent last year
Domestic tourism broke a record again last year. On the basis of the preliminary data of Szallas.hu, the traffic grew by over 10 percent compared to 2015 – according to the portal’s latest analysis sent to MTI.
The outstanding summer and stronger than usual September results both contributed to the growth. The Szallas.hu in 2016 reserved accommodations in a value of 16 billion HUF and has registered the one millionth reservation last summer. (MTI)
