Presidency members elected
On 18 February the Guild of Hungarian Confectioners elected a new presidency. Presidency members: president – Balázs Erdélyi, co-president – László Selmeczi, vice presidents – Zoltán Kiss and Balázs Ipacs. The guild built a confectionery showroom and training workshop in its new headquarters. This place can serve as the national master’s exam centre in the future. It is the guild’s long-term goal to take part in the National Qualifications Register (OKJ) training system too. Since there is a major workforce shortage in the confectionery trade, the guild must do everything it can to supply businesses with well-trained and motivated confectioners.
