TIM: the demand for environmentally conscious products is increasing

More and more people in the consumer society are choosing an environmentally conscious lifestyle, making appropriate decisions more and more often, all of which results in an increasing demand for environmentally conscious products and services – stressed Nikoletta Keszthelyi, the Deputy State Secretary responsible for environmental protection of the Ministry of Technology and Industry (TIM) on Tuesday at the at the ceremony of handing over the Hungarian and European eco-label certificates, in Budapest at the Herman Ottó Institute.

Demand for environmentally conscious products is increasing

The certificate can be awarded to companies that meet strict environmental protection standards. Granpol Kft., a cleaning company from Esztergom, received the Hungarian eco-label, the certificate entitling it to use the Environmentally Friendly Product trademark, and the European Union eco-label was awarded to Lucart Kft., the Hungarian subsidiary of the Italian Lucart group, which plays a leading role in the paper industry throughout Europe.
