Food companies protest against Trump’s decision
Nestlé, Danone, Mars and Unilever have issued a joint statement calling on US President Donald Trump and his Government to keep up with the so-called energy management plan – agrarszektor.hu wrote.
Former US President Barack Obama’s strategy aims at a significant reduction in carbon dioxide emissions, but this was abolished by the Trump government. But big food companies warn that it may cost several billions of USD for the US economy if they do not take steps to reduce carbon emissions. (agrarszektor.hu)
