The bar in 2017
Euromonitor forecasts that the number of people drinking luxury spirits will increase by 400 million until 2020. Alcohol consumption in Asia, Africa and the Middle East will grow by 15-25 percent. According to finedininglovers.com, the 2017 cocktail trends in New York and Miami will include the following: bartenders will be looking for more spectacular mixing methods and cocktail ingredients; often the new cocktails aren’t named; drinks will be mixed to match various moods – e.g. red for confidence building, yellow for friendship, etc.; bartenders will become multifunctional: they can also do the job of sommeliers and baristas. //
