The test of the oil is in the frying
László Zoltán Kovács, the chef of Marcso Catering has tested two versions of Bunge Pro cooking oil: Bunge Pro 3-5 and Bunge Pro 7-12. He used them in the kitchen of an office building. In Bunger Pro 3-5 he prepared 15-20kg of French fries for 3 hours every day, in a 10-day period. They filtered the oil after every use and it was of perfect quality even on the 10th day.
Mr Kovács fried all kinds of food in Bunge Pro 7-12, also for 3 hours a day in a 7-day period. This version also performed superbly in the kitchen – even on the 7th day. The chef thinks that these oils might cost more than the average per litre, but they are worth buying as they can be used for frying longer. He revealed that guests are happy to hear that the oil in which their food is cooked represents top quality, it is heart-friendly, rich in unsaturated fats or contains Omega-6 fatty acid. What is more, Bunge Pro is a product that is made by processing ingredients in Hungary. (x)
