Alföldi Tej’s portfolio becomes complete
Alföldi Tej Kft. has been Hungary’s second biggest dairy company for years. Its Debrecen and Székesfehérvár production plants process 750,000 litres of Hungarian milk a day. Sales and marketing director István Dobrovoczky told our magazine that their Magyar and Riska milks are very popular – to the extent that the company only needs to use the Hungarian Product logo on the private label products they make for retail chains. In 2020 Alföldi Tej completed building its own cheese factory and Central Europe’s biggest powdered milk plant, so the company’s product portfolio is now complete.
Alföldi Tej Kft. was established by 23 members in 2003, with a milk production capacity of 85 million litres per year. By 2015 they had more than 100 milk farmer owners and annual production reached 300 million litres. Currently 80 businesses own the company that employs 700 people. //
