Telenor: Hungarians do not give up Christmas despite the pandemic
Due to the pandemic, the conditions are not ideal for celebrating this year’s Christmas, but Hungarians are Christmas-loving, do not give up the celebration and plan to replace less personal meetings with digital communication – according to Telenor’s representative research on the impact of the pandemic on this year’s Christmas, including, but not limited to, communication and gift shopping.
From a recent 1,000-person survey commissioned by Telenor from Impetus Research, representative of gender, age, settlement type and region, it is clear that Christmas is an important family holiday for Hungarians: the majority spend it with their families – only 5 percent with friends and 3 percent alone – and only 1 percent of respondents do not celebrate.
