We still have a few places available at the FMCG Open University if you wish to enrol and learn a lot of things. We have the best professors, great courses at different faculties, and unforgettable university experiences… It is true that the tuition fees aren’t cheap, but in return a 5-day University Days event will be waiting for you, which is guaranteed to bring back memories of your original university days. We are going to celebrate graduation, reward good deeds and – last but not least – shower you with gifts and surprises. You can test drive dream cars, compete for superb prizes, and we serve better food and drinks than the average university café. You don’t have to buy chocolate from a vending machine: actually you will be required to have communal meals regularly and we will give you the chance to get a glimpse into the magical world of drinks, complete with VR glasses and professional assistance.
Returning to the topic of the courses, we believe that we have managed to recruit a team of professors this year that is experienced, up-to-date with the market, and isn’t only well-versed in theory but practice-oriented as well when it comes to passing on knowledge, and these professors are passionate about what they do and not at all afraid to share their knowledge. They love it when the lecture hall is full and many students are listening to them, they aren’t afraid of questions and are happy to answer them, and those who wish to do so can continue the conversation with the professors after the lectures or seminars, as our teaching staff are open to sharing ideas and thinking collectively. They are committed to their profession, their career and the community in every sense of the word.
The location hasn’t changed: the University of Tapolca is made complete with the Trade Campus. Everyone who works there is getting ready for and looking forward to September, which has been bringing the opening ceremony of the academic year for almost 20 years now. Open University means that everyone is welcome and everyone has the opportunity to come and participate in the transfer and sharing of knowledge. All in all, we will be there, join us because it will be worth it!
A lot has happened in the last year and obviously a lot will happen in the next one. What you could read above is the lead-up to this year’s Business Days conference, which promises to be the biggest FMCG trade event in 2024. This year the event will be held once again in Tapolca, at the Hunguest Hotel Pelion. The programme has been put together and we hope that there will be minimal changes only, so we already know what we are up to.
You can check out the detailed programme on pp 26-29 of Trade magazin, plan your participation and even the registration form is just a click away at businessdays.hu. And as this issue will be a textbook of importance at the University, it may be a good idea to read it through prior to the start.
We are looking forward to meeting you!
Best regards,
Zsuzsanna Hermann, Editor in Chief
