The Honey Breakfast initiative was started in Tata
Honey Breakfast, the Hungarian part of the European initiative to encourage the honey consumption of children has started on Friday in Tata in the Kőkúti Primary School. Within the initiative 153 thousand children tasted honey in 911 educational institutions.
“Honey consumption has a good effect on the health of children, but it should not be overlooked that the threat to beekeeping can be felt in the entire agriculture,” – the Minister of Agriculture said at the opening of the program organized jointly with the Hungarian National Association of Beekeepers, the Agricultural Marketing Center and the National Chamber of Agriculture.
