The success of Hungarian beers in Ireland
Hungarian craft brewers won one gold, one silver and six bronze medals atone of Ireland's most prestigious and largest beer competition.
The Hungarian beers were presented at the Alltech Craft Brews & Food Fair for the first time. The Hungarian beer manufacturers were took part at the competition with a booth with 18 taps and won a number of awards.
The winning Hungarian beers:
Csupor Sör, (Brewed in the Legenda Sörfőzde)Bunny Hop- gold medal
Zip’s Sörfőzde, Pineapple Saison Noir- silver medal
Zip’s Sörfőzde, Black IPA- bronze medal
Csupor Sör, (Brewed in the Legenda Sörfőzde) Tántorgó ParIPA (Staggering Steed) – bronze medal
Legenda Sörfőzde, Horse Juice- bronze medal
Reketye Sörfőzde, Ravasz Hód (Cunning Beaver)- bronze medal
Horizont Sörök, (Brewed in the Kaltenecker Sörfőzde) Japán Búza (Japanese wheat beer) – bronze medal
Horizont Sörök, (Brewed in the Kaltenecker Sörfőzde) Flamand Porter- bronze medal
The Alltech Craft Brews and Food Fair is Ireland’s largest international craft beer festival, held at Dublin’s Convention Centre between 27 February and 1 March 2015. As the craft brewing and distilling industry experiences phenomenal growth, the Fair aims to bring together craft beer aficionados from all over the world to share ideas, expertise and flavours with Irish craft beer enthusiasts. This will be the third time Alltech hosted the event, which this year welcomed more than 6,000 visitors who tasted a range of craft beers from more than 45 brewers from 18 countries around the world.
