Organic revolution subsidized in Hungary
Dr István Nagy, Minister of Agriculture, announced the opening of new resources subsidizing organic farming in Hungary. He explained that the government supports the increase of territories included in organic farming and provides a national budget of 80 percent to rural development funds received under the CAP. As a result, new tenders with a total budget of HUF 40 billion and with a three-year period covered by a commitment will be invited as of 1 January, 2022.
Péter Roszík, managing director of Biokontroll Kft. pointed out that organic farming is currently the only profitable form of sustainable farming. //
