Takarékbank: the turnover of restaurants almost halved at the end of 2020
Restaurant turnover fell by almost half in the last two months of 2020 due to restrictive measures taken against the second wave of the pandemic – a senior analyst at Takarékbank told MTI on Tuesday, saying that catering turnover may pick up somewhat in the second quarter.
Last November, the volume of restaurant turnover decreased by 48.6 percent, and their sales revenue fell by 45.4 percent, according to preliminary data, the decrease in sales revenue was similar to in December (45.3 percent), according to data from cash registers – Suppan Gergely wrote. (MTI)
