There is a need for production-related subsidies, according to the agrarian chambers of the Visegrád countries
The enlarged meeting of the Agrarian Chambers of the Visegrad Four countries focused on the post-2020 Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
According to the organizations’ leaders, production-related subsidies are needed, which play a significant role in the conservation of agricultural activity in sensitive sectors. At the meeting, the Bratislava Declaration that was adopted in March (on the definition of the limit for the amount of subsidies financed exclusively from the state budget) was modified to the Hungarian and Bulgarian proposals.
