The National Wine Marathon starts on Saturday
The National Wine Marathon will start on Saturday from Hajós and will visit 103 municipalities of 22 wine regions in 11 days without interruption. The aim of the National Wine Marathon is to set a world record for the longest marathon relay.
The 2573 kms long National Wine Marathon is Hungary's largest wine-gastronomic and sporting event. It is also the largest national community event of the year under the patronage of Áder János the President of the Republic. The event’s patron is Hende Csaba, Minister of Defense – the organizers told MTI on Thursday. (MTI)
