The Wine Weeks in Balatonfüred to start on Saturday
From Saturday, the program series of the wine festival in Balatonfüred await the guests for three weeks. As a novelty, the presentations of young winemakers are also included this year.
Mészáros József representative of the exhibiting winemakers told MTI on Tuesday that almost 250 different wines, made of about thirty grape varieties will be offered.
Last year's weather favored the scented varieties, Traminer, Muscat, the cserszegi spicy, Irsai Olivér. The 2014 wines are light, playful, which is ideal for summer heat – the winemaker explains, adding that this year's big favorites will be the rosé wines and the rizlings as well. (MTI)
