Hungarian agricultural export to Slovakia, our sixth biggest export market grew by 48 per cent in 2006. Sugar accounted for a quarter of our export, totalling EUR 40 million. Increase was 327 per cent compared to 2005. Exports of corn and wheat flour also expanded dynamically, by 230 and 400 per cent respectively. Total imports from Slovakia amounted to EUR 162,7 million, showing an increase of 10 per cent. A major import item was live swine with a value of over EUR 12 million. Imports of milk and cream totalled 13,7 million, with cheese and curd representing a similar value.
