Slovakia is Hungary’s third most important trading partner
Slovakia has now become Hungary’s third most important trading partner, and despite the crisis, the two countries’ trade turnover remained close to 10 billion euros, the foreign and foreign affairs minister said at a joint press conference with Slovak transport and construction minister Andrej Dolezal in Ipolydamásd on Friday.
Szijjártó Péter said at the foundation ceremony of the Ipoly bridge between Ipolydamásd and Helemba that the Hungarian capital invested in Slovakia increased by 64 percent compared to 2010, which shows that the energy invested in improving relations between the two countries has paid off in the last 11 years.
