Hungary is world leader in per capita duck meat production
We increasingly look for products made from duck instead of goose meat and foie gras – agrarszektor.hu wrote. The duck is cheaper and many say it is tastier by many as well.
According top the Poultry Council, the annual production value of the poultry sector on the raw material side is 350 billion HUF and 150 billion HUFon the processing side. In the first ten months of 2014, the gross production of poultry meat exceeded the previous year's processing amount by 6.4 percent.
