In Serbia last year, more than 1,300 tons of meat products were withdrawn from the market
Only in Belgrade last year, nearly 400 tons of animal food were seized and destroyed by the authorities – said Sanja Celebicanin, head of the Serbian head medical officer in her interview to Tanjugnak on Thursday.
She told that mostly expired or low quality food products were withdrawn from retail trade at the slaughterhouses fewer irregularities were observed. During the food quality controls the most of the offenses ere found at the minced meat and beef – reports MTI.
