Voucher season kicks off in September
In our increasingly digital world, the popularity of paper vouchers remains undiminished.
“The trend observed at the beginning of 2024 continued in the first half of the year, with Rewin voucher issuance up 1.5 times compared to the same period in 2023. From September onwards, this growth is expected to be even more dynamic” – we learnt from Attila Pásztor, Rewin’s head of acceptance point relations.
As a small value gift, an individual can now receive a net benefit of HUF 80,040/year from their employer, taxed at a much lower rate than wages, either in the form of a gift or a voucher. “This is a convincing limit for businesses and HR managers. A company with 100 employees could save up to HUF 3 million in payroll costs by paying in Rewin vouchers”, adds Attila Pásztor. (x)
