The Olympics in Hungary would create one hundreds thousand jobs

The real winners of the 2024 Olympics in Budapest would be the hotels and restaurants. The sporting events would bring plus 600-800 thousand overnight stays, ie three to four times of the average of the number of visitors. The hotels would fourfold their revenues during this period, while one hundreds thousand new jobs would be created in the sector – Niklai Ákos, President of the Hungarian Association of Hotels and Restaurants told magyaridok.hu.

The President of the Hungarian Association of Hotels and Restaurants underlined that a high demand would occur towards Budapest and rural competition venues, Balaton, Debrecen, Győr, Miskolc, Szeged, Székesfehérvár and Veszprém during the 4-5 weeks period of the summer Olympic and Paralympic Games.
