By the end of the century, economic well-being had improved in January
The economic index of both the population and companies shows a slightly negative mood, but both indicators have improved compared to the previous month, and pessimism is steadily declining – the Századvég Economic Research reported the results of its latest research to MTI on Monday.
They highlighted: the value of the indices interpreted on a scale between -100 and +100 for the population increased to -6.4 points after the -10.6 in December, while for companies it rose from -16.4 to -12.2 points this month.
A further substantial improvement in economic sentiment can be expected if restrictions are significantly relaxed and the economy can return to normal, they noted. (MTI)
