The Századvég Economic Researcher expects the Hungarian economy to grow close to or even 5 percent in 2019, one of the highest growth rates among EU countries. In its latest forecast, the research institute recalls that the Hungarian economy posted strong growth of 5.0 percent in the third quarter, while the average growth in the EU was only 1.7 percent. The Slovak economy increased by 1.3 percent, the Czech Republic by 3, Poland by 4.2 and Romania by 3.0 percent. (MTI)
