Szallas.hu: four times more people travel on the long weekend

Even after the Easter record, the Hungarians still want to travel, and four times more people plan to travel for a long weekend on 1 May than at a typical weekend of May – the latest survey of Szallas.hu reveals. Every 4th guests enjoy their holiday with SZÉP card. Most guests travel to Budapest, Gyula and Eger.

According to the portal’s data, the hotels in the capital are almost full for the weekend, there is hardly any space available. True, most of the guests in Budapest are foreigners, while the countryside and the rural wellness hotels are more popular among the domestic guests. (MTI)
