Recognition for both the trade and its practitioners
The leaders of the Hungarian Confectioners’ Craft Union have received the Kőrösi Csoma Sándor Award.

This year’s awards were presented to nine outstanding personalities in the tourism sector at a ceremony held on 4 December, by Márton Nagy, Minister for National Economy and László Könnyid, CEO of the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ). Balázs Erdélyi, technical president of the Hungarian Confectioners’ Craft Union shared the Grand Prize with co-president László Selmeczi. “First of all, we would like to thank Ágnes Soproniné Fórián, hospitality and programme director of MTÜ for taking notice of the work we do, and for caring about Hungarian confectioners and the Hungarian confectionery industry”, Balázs Erdélyi told at the award ceremony.
