Professional recognition for the guild
The Guild of Hungarian Restaurateurs (MVI) is once again featured on the list of the TOP10 most influential professional organisations in the field of tourism, it was announced at the annual Tourism Season Opening Gala on 1 February 2025.

MVI has earlier published a summary of its activities in 2024. This says that MVI has brought to the attention of decision-makers the practical issues affecting small and medium-sized hospitality businesses on a number of issues. About the mandatory deposit return system (DRS) the guild has had several consultations with MOHU’s representatives, in order to ensure that the needs of the hospitality industry are met quickly and cost-effectively. Within the framework of the SIRHA Budapest trade fair, MVI organised a conference for the hospitality industry and supported the Public Sector Catering Competition. //
