Expert: nutritional allergies are growing faster than the respiratory allergies
The number of people affected by nutritional allergies is growing faster than those with respiratory allergies – the chairman of the Association of Home Pediatricians told M1 news channel on Tuesday.
Póta György said that this is because people are consuming less and less natural foods, and they consume lots of preservatives, artificial flavors and colorings.
Gluten and lactose-sensitive people are also on the rise, because an unhealthy diet provokes the body – he added. He said this causes allergies to develop at a younger age. (MTI)
