The fair is open at Tesco from July 18
Price-capped flour, oil, eggs and UHT milk will be available without quantity restrictions in Tesco stores and online from July 18 – helping customers before the end of the price cap. In addition, the company provides cheap shopping for thousands of additional products with a versatile discount system.
Until the end of the food price cap, which takes effect on August 1, Tesco will also help its customers by canceling the purchase limit. So, for example, you can buy the price-capped components of the hot or egg lecso, popular in the summer, without restrictions. The lifting of the previously valid limit does not apply to chicken meat, pork legs, and granulated sugar, because in the case of these products, the company still considers it necessary to maintain the definition of the maximum quantity that can be purchased at one time in order to ensure adequate stocks. The lifting of the restriction does not apply to potatoes either.
If we compare the total of the baskets made up of the lowest unit price products of the product categories available at all retailers on the Price Monitor day by day, it can be seen that between July 5 and 11, Tesco was the cheapest for seven consecutive days, and even continuously offers such basic products at low prices. foods such as powdered sugar, apple juice, orange juice, pork, chicken, fresh milk, cottage cheese or cheese. In addition, based on the Price Monitor, the price-stopped cooking oil can be purchased at Tesco at the lowest price since July 6.
