Stagnation in the German consumer mood index of GfK
Instead of the expected decline, the consumer mood index of the Nurenberg-based GfK Institute for Economics stagnated in November, while the income and economic expectations of consumers declined and the willingness to buy increased significantly.
According to the results of the Gfk survey on Friday, the Institute’s consumer mood index remained at 10.6 points, while analysts expected a slight decline of 10.5 points. A year ago, the indicator stood at 10.8 points. (MTI)
