Stable operation, strengthened leadership at ÖRT
The 2022 General Assembly of the ÖRT confirmed the management of the organization, so in the next three years, dr. Kálmán Molnár, Unilever’s director of legal and corporate relations, will be the president of the ÖRT, while László Mező (Medicom) and András Galavics (MTVA) will be the vice-presidents. Ildikó Fazekas, as director, focuses on strategic tasks, while Zsolt Gerendi, general secretary, handles the operational management of the organization.
At this year’s general assembly – which was held in person – in addition to the review of the last year’s report and future plans, as well as the budget, a renovation took place, in the framework of which the current leaders of the ÖRT were confirmed in their positions by the organization’s General Assembly. In addition to the president and vice-presidents, members of the Supervisory Board were also re-elected. We can welcome some new members to the Válastmány membership, in the person of Tibor Péter Juhász (Vodafone), Pál Bíró (Google) and Attila Lőrinc (Doupla).
I am proud that the ÖRT membership, which represents a significant part of the advertising profession, has once again voted their trust in me. The past three years have brought us continuous expansion and development despite the COVID and difficult economic conditions, we thank our old and new members for their trust. The challenges affecting the advertising industry have not let ÖRT get complacent either. By introducing new services, using all the elements of the comprehensive system of self-regulation of advertising – preliminary reviews, monitoring and intensive education of the profession – we worked to build and maintain faith in advertising and the self-regulation of the advertising industry. It is an honor for me that they count on me as the president of the organization for the next 3 years, I gladly accepted the task – said Dr. Kálmán Molnár is the re-elected president of ÖRT.
