Sparkling Coffee – Cafe Frei is building a new coffee category
This summer Cafe Frei is launching an exciting new product: Sparkling Coffee, a sparkling coffee product or more precisely a coffee drink in mango and vanilla flavours.
This type of coffee drink is unique in Hungary, but it is increasingly popular worldwide. The drink is based on cold brew coffee extract, flavoured with water and enriched with carbon dioxide. These cold drip coffee drinks are also popular in cafés, topped with tonic or lemonade. Market forecasts show a gradual rise in consumer demand for more natural, healthier RTD products, with an estimated international growth rate of 13% between 2021 and 2028. Café Frei wishes to play a pioneering in Hungary with the development of flavoured Sparkling Coffee, which is already available on the shelves of hypermarkets and discount chains. (x)
