‘SPAR to Go’

The rapid pace of city life makes it impossible for many people to save time for cooking, especially on weekdays. This trend has led to growing demand for ready meals or food that can be eaten on the go. There are numerous SPAR stores in Hungary where ‘SPAR to GO’ food is sold and in certain stores sandwich bars and restaurants are waiting for customers. In the City Spar at 27 Erzsébet krt. and in the SPAR of Mammut Shopping Centre (both of them are in Budapest) shoppers can choose from delicious hot dishes. In the former there are 120 items on the menu, while in the latter 20-25 meals are made from fresh ingredients on the spot every day. Both hot and cold food can be eaten right there or taken away. New SPAR convenience products have appeared in SPAR stores recently: vegetarian sandwiches, fresh salads in a cup with dressing, mueslis and fruit salads. Roast chicken has been the star of deli counters for years. In the summer the self-service salad bars in bigger SPAR stores are very popular. Those consumers who buy these products can be sure that they get high-quality and healthy food – at affordable prices. (x)
