We buy vitamins and nutritional supplements more consciously than ever before
Although in the current economic situation one might expect that consumers’ price sensitivity is increasing, the latest research by Nutriversum revealed that after many years, price is no longer the most important decision factor when choosing a product, but the composition. In the list of decision factors, composition and price were followed by customer reviews and then the taste of the product.
Losing weight is no longer the most common reason people buy nutritional supplements, according to Nutriversum’s latest consumer research. 87 percent of those surveyed consume such products to support a general healthy lifestyle. 44 percent came to avoid diseases, and 42 percent came for beauty care purposes.
