The number of sheep has risen
The Association of Hungarian Livestock Farmers has published the sheep and goat sector status report – agrarszektor.hu wrote.
As it is written, the number of sheep farms and sheeps increased appreciably between 2011 and 2017. The number of sheep breeders increased from 6500 to 8950.
This is mainly due to the increase of the nearly threefold increase in ewl support and the “Give Land to the Farmers” program. (MTI)
