Smartphone boom in Hungary
Czech-owned company Mall Group – they operate the online shop Mall.hu in Hungary – organised the Black Friday promotion in 6 countries at the end of last year. Buying statistics from this period have revealed that it is in Hungary that smartphone use is spreading the most dynamically. While in 2016 only 29.2 percent of Hungarian shoppers visited Mall.hu from their mobile phone, in 2017 this proportion grew to 40.8 percent on Black Friday. It is also in Hungary that the highest proportion of women buy products in online shops. //
