Danone expects a successful year 2024
The French food industry group, Danone, entered the new year with confidence and published encouraging forecasts for the coming period. Based on the results achieved during the previous year and the prospects for 2024, the company group is looking forward to the coming months in an optimistic mood.
Danone achieved outstanding sales growth in 2023, reaching the upper end of the company’s forecast. The company group’s profit margin also moved in a positive direction, thanks in part to higher prices, which offset the decrease in lower sales volume. This successful year created a foundation for further development in the following period.
Danone’s forecast for 2024 is in line with its mid-term objectives. The company aims to achieve a moderate improvement in the recurring operating margin in addition to a 3-5% increase in like-for-like sales. This planned growth rate reflects the company’s ambitious strategy and commitment to maintaining a strong position in the sector.
