There will be a band for the special retail tax
In Tuesday’s Hungarian Gazette, the government promulgated a decree on a special tax on retail chains. The special tax will be banded, you have to pay over 500 million HUF sales revenue – portfolio.hu wrote.
A government decree entitled “Retail tax for topping up the Epidemiological Fund in order to implement the Economic Protection Action Plan” was published in Tuesday’s Magyar Közlöny.
The special tax applies to companies engaged in retail activities, regardless of the method of sale, so it also applies to online traders, but only to large companies.
