Insect powder in animal feed

In a circular model, the firm uses agricultural waste to feed fly larvae and then make animal feed ingredients – insect powder and oil – from them, for pets and livestock. Experts say there will be enough protein in Europe in the near future, so humans won’t have to eat insects, but the distribution and utilisation of protein sources is crucial. If we feed livestock with insect protein, we can eat healthier and better tasting chicken or beef. //
