GfK’s German consumer sentiment index deteriorated more than expected in April, mainly due to inflation and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

German consumer sentiment deteriorates greatly
The consumer sentiment index for April fell to a 14-month low of minus 15.5 points from minus 8.5 points in March. The average of expert expectations was less deteriorating, minus 14 points. (MTI)
