Romania was our fifth biggest export market last year, with export totalling EUR 212,4 million and showing an increase of 8,3 per cent. Pork was a very significant export item, generating revenues of EUR 41 million. Animal fodder represented similar magnitude, but showed expansion of 24 per cent. Live swine, wheat flour and corn exports were also substantial. Romanian imports to Hungary grew by 24 per cent last year, to EUR 56,4 million. The most important items were soya (EUR 11 million), live sheep (EUR 9 million) and sunflower seed (EUR 7,4 million).
