Romanian milk processing plants favor Hungarian milk
The Romanian milk processing plants buy only the quarter of the milk produced in the country and almost half of the imported milk comes from Hungary – the Maszol.ro website wrote on Monday.
According to the data published by the European Commission, the lowest purchase price of milk was in Romania among the EU Member States in September, for the fifth consecutive month. In September, processors paid an average of 1.37 leis (92.8 forints) for milk to the Romanian milk producers. (MTI)
