Hungarians use artificial intelligence for work less often than the international average
Hungarian employees use artificial intelligence for work or private purposes less often than the global average. Most often, they rely on software based on this technology for fact-finding, translation and skill development, but their knowledge of these technologies falls short of the international average, according to the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Stepstone Group, The Network and its Hungarian partner, Profession. hu from joint research.
Artificial intelligence and the software and services based on it are becoming more and more integrated into our everyday lives, and we use them more and more often consciously, either for work or for private purposes. However, our knowledge about it is still incomplete, and we treat these solutions with greater reservation than the foreign average.
How well do we know AI and what is it used for?
Hungarian workers use artificial intelligence-based software less often than the international average: 10% of respondents use it weekly, 14% monthly, compared to the average global ratio of 18 and 21%. 42% of the respondents have heard of these services, but have never tried them, and two out of ten have not even heard of them.
Outside of work, artificial intelligence users in Hungary mostly use it to search for information (47%), to translate texts in foreign languages (46%), and to learn new skills and develop existing skills (42%). In everyday work, they are typically used to perform administrative tasks (42%), assist creative processes (30%), and write texts (30%).
