McDonald’s straws on eBay
McDonald’s has decided to remove plastic straws from its restaurants in many countries, such as in Britain or Australia, to reduce the amount of harmful waste emitted. However, many companies have rethought their use of plastics recently and are trying to find alternatives to the global plastics problem with alternatives.
As Origo wrote earlier, Coca-Cola has also lined up to launch bottles made from 100 percent recycled material, thus fighting plastic pollution.
Some eBay users have begun to sell original white, red and yellow plastic straws on eBAy. The “incredibly rare” product is offered in the online marketplace between 1,000 and 1,500 Australian dollars (230 – 350 thousand forints). (origo)
